10/7/24 Update on Christopher

Christopher is doing well in the ICU.  It was found that his heart was actually the size of a volleyball.  The surgery took longer than they wanted but it was successful!    He is on track for the timeline they have given for recovery and is receiving such amazing care!  There is a possibility that he will remain in the hospital for10 or more days but they are pleased with how he is doing so far. 

The gratitude we have for all of you is beyond what we can express!  The outpouring of love has been holding all of us together.   When awake, Christopher continues to say how much love he feels around him and flowing through him.  He keeps telling everyone he is in contact with how grateful he is for that!    His attitude is so good and he has surrendered to the healing and those that are helping him minute by minute.  

 Amanda is having the chance to rest and know that her husband is in good hands.  She feels your love too and this has allowed her to finally let go and recover as well.  

We will send out an update later this week as Christopher continues his healing journey.  Jen and I are taking a bit of time as well to fill up with God and allow ourselves to be off duty for a bit.
